Realise the potential of your ideas

Whether you’re a clinician in the NHS who has discovered newfound best practice, a healthtech company practised at developing health innovation or a multinational life sciences or tech organisation, we can partner with you to improve patient outcomes, better support the NHS workforce, increase capacity in our health service and boost economic growth.

The 15 health innovation networks operate in their own geographies embedded in their communities and health and research ecosystems so we can work effectively with industry locally. We come together as the Health Innovation Network, so we can support broader regional, cross-regional and national partnerships to deliver local change within the NHS and social care sector that has a national impact.

From conception to mass adoption, we’re here to support you

For early-stage innovations

If you’re at the beginning of your innovation journey, we can give you guidance on any gaps in your value proposition or evidence base, and help you to create a proof-of-concept prototype.

Most importantly, we’re here to offer advice on the complexities of the health and care sector, and guide you on how your innovations can best weave in to improve them.

For advanced, pre-commercial stage innovations

When you’re fast approaching the stage of releasing your innovation out into the world, we can help with developing your value proposition, impact modelling, health economics and brokering connections with health and care experts.

When you’re ready to go to market, we’ll be here to support with real-world evaluations, roll-out and adoption.

For the life sciences sector

We partner with all types of industry – from small enterprises wanting to commercialise great ideas to help solve NHS challenges, through to global pharmaceutical and life science and technology companies seeking to partner with the NHS to bring innovative treatments, pathways and solutions to patients.

We have over 10 years’ experience of innovation implementation across the NHS and healthcare; this means we have the knowledge, experience, and the local and national connections, to get new treatments and innovation to patients faster across wider geographies. We recommend the King’s Fund and ABPI Partnership Principles when working with industry.
