A new practical guide for innovators developing Real-World Evaluation (RWE) projects has been published by The AHSN Network.

The newly published guide is now available on the AHSN Network website, ‘Real-World Evaluation to facilitate adoption at scale: a practical guide for innovators’.

This simple guide will support innovators in gathering real-world evidence to support scale up and spread of their ideas. It clarifies the RWE process for health and care innovators and offers useful tips on best practice.

Co-author and Director for Enterprise and Innovation at Yorkshire & Humber AHSN, Dr Neville Young commented:

“Generating evidence to support the development and use of health technologies in the UK is complex. Working with our partners, we have developed this practical guide to answer burning questions, make the process easier and increase the likelihood of innovative solutions being adopted at scale.”

The AHSN Network guide has been developed as part of a collaboration between the AHSN Network and National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) with support from the Office for Life Sciences (OLS), the Association of British HealthTech Industries (ABHI) and companies who have worked with the AHSNs on RWE projects.

Are you an innovator who could benefit from our expertise in RWE? Contact your local AHSN to see how we can help.
